Free Men of the Sea has sailed on several tall ships during sea festivals, battle reenactments, privateer-centered cruises, and acted as liaisons and period crew for films.

We’ve worked with a variety of nautical history museums, providing artifacts and demonstrations from the Golden Age of Piracy (1690-1730) through the War of 1812. Members of our crew have also presented workshops on pirates and privateers, including weapons demonstrations and sea shanties.
